WHO WE ARE:
Diamond Bar Pony Baseball is a volunteer run, non-profit organization serving the communities of Diamond Bar, Phillips Ranch, Pomona, Walnut and all surrounding local cities.  Any child can play here during the regular season. We are a recreational baseball league, meaning that every child that signs up will get the chance to play in the field and bat at each game.

HISTORY:
Baseball has been played on its current location of the Diamond Bar Pony Baseball Fields (Sunset Crossing near the YMCA) since 1966. The fields are also named after their founder, Mr. Stevens, who dedicated the land so that children of our community could always have a place to play baseball. Since 1966, Little League Baseball was played at Stevens Field and our organization was called Diamond Bar Little league. In 1998, Diamond Bar Little League reached its pinnacle as the Senior Division (age 15) won the Little League World Series Senior Division. From 1998 to 2009, the competitive landscape of baseball changed rapidly with many players from our area leaving to play Pony Youth baseball in other cities. In 2009, Diamond Bar Little League was changed over to Diamond Bar Pony Baseball.  The board of directors voted to make a change to Pony baseball rules for several reasons:  1. Have kids experience "real baseball" at a younger age in order to better prepare them for high school.  2. Have kids play on fields (pitching distance and base paths) that fit them better for their specific age. 3. Have kids experience a more exciting form of baseball where there is much more action not just on the base paths, but on the rest of the infield and outfield.  Overall, the response has been very positive in regard to the change. Several of our all star teams have claimed division and regional titles and Diamond Bar has made its presence felt in the PONY West Zone Region. Many people that played over the years at Stevens Field have played at the college levels and major league level.  More importantly, Stevens field has made many childhood baseball dreams come true and has created lifelong memories.We welcome you to play with us!!
